Main Objectives

Explore the success factors of PED Labs and provide recommendations on their implementation. Define methods for the monitoring, evaluation and replication of PEDs and PED Labs.

Tasks

T3.1 Review existing concept, projects and facilities that are relevant to PED Labs
T3.2 Review methods in the monitoring, evaluation and replication of PEDs and PED Labs
T3.3 Consolidate the concepts of PED Labs and derive guidance on their design and implementation from technological, social, financial and regulatory perspectives
T3.4 Develop common protocols for testing, monitoring, evaluation and replication of PEDs and PED Labs
T3.5 Devise the concept of a virtual PED Lab for demonstrating new technologies and solutions

PED-EU-NET

The COST Action Positive Energy Districts European Network (PED-EU-NET) aims to mobilise researchers and other relevant stakeholders across different domains and sectors to drive the deployment of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) in Europe through open sharing of knowledge, exchange of ideas, pooling of resources, experimentation of new methods and co-creation of novel solutions.
