WG2 - PED Guides and Tools

Main Objectives

Scope existing technical and non-technical guides and tools, which can support the design, planning and operation of PEDs. Generate insights into the development of new guides and tools for optimizing the design, operation, financing and opportunities of PEDs.

Tasks

T2.1 Review existing technical guides and tools related to the design, planning and operation of PEDs
T2.2 Review existing non-technical guides and tools related to governance structure, civic participation, funding and business models that can be used to support the implementation of PEDs
T2.3 Characterise existing guides and tools and develop a tool chain to support PED developers
T2.4 Identify gaps in existing guides and tools and devise framework on the development of new guides and tools to fill these gaps

PED-EU-NET

The COST Action Positive Energy Districts European Network (PED-EU-NET) aims to mobilise researchers and other relevant stakeholders across different domains and sectors to drive the deployment of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) in Europe through open sharing of knowledge, exchange of ideas, pooling of resources, experimentation of new methods and co-creation of novel solutions.
